3-5 YEAR LEASES


At Housing Action Management, we're able to take properties on a lease of 3 to 5 years with guaranteed rent, whether it's one-bedroom or five-bedroom.

​

Your property does have to adhere to some basic requirements - for example, you must provide white goods, the property must be freshly decorated in neutral colours, flooring must be in good condition - but we can talk you through everything clearly and concisely.

 

Your property will require all relevant safety certificates and building insurance cover, and as standard we would only place one or two tenant households at the property during the term of the lease.

3 YEAR NIGHTLY LET


Your property must be fully furnished to meet our minimum requirements, and all furnishings must meet fire safety regulations.

​

As mentioned above, white goods must also be provided (including cooker / oven and hob, fridge, freezer and washing machine).

 

We will accept many other property types and sizes on this scheme, including studio flats.

ASSURED SHORTHOLD TENANCY


This is a new scheme that provides tenants on AST terms.

 

Terms can be set from 12 to 24 months, or longer in some cases. Properties can be unfurnished, part-furnished or fully furnished according to the tenants’ requirements. The tenants are previous council tenants and rent is payable without delay. Properties have to meet the standards required by the council allocating tenant.

The benefits of this scheme include:

  • Inspection carried out every 4 months

  • A commission charge equal to 2 weeks rent at the start of agreement

  • A survey conducted prior to tenants being placed at the property

  • Support with housing benefit set up

  • Maintenance support if requested (charges apply)

  • You have direct contact with your tenant

PRIVATE LETTING


Housing Action Management has recently introduced a scheme that provides tenants with a one-year assured shorthold tenancy (AST).

 

We are able to source tenants for properties in most areas and for most sizes of accommodation, while properties - so long as they're of an acceptable standard - can be furnished or unfurnished. All tenants are vetted and references obtained as part of the service.

​

Depending on location, we are able to achieve high level market rents and can offer a management service where required for a negotiated monthly commission.
